PBSP Training Program in San Diego, CA (Feb 6-8, 2026)

The USPBSPA is pleased to offer the second session of Year 2 of our training program in San Diego, CA for psychotherapists, social workers, and mental health practitioners! Register soon, space is limited.

Date: February 6-8, 2026 from 9 am to 5 pm

Cost: $550 per 3-day training session 

Location: A private home in San Diego

Trainer for February session: Gus Kaufman, Ph. D.

The USPBSPA is offering partial financial assistance for those wishing to train in PBSP.  You may be eligible to receive financial assistance for up to 50% of your tuition costs. Click here to read about and apply for financial assistance.

All Session Dates:

In addition to this 3-day training, Gus Kaufman will be offering a full day of Personal Structures for trainees at an additional cost on Thursday, February 5, 2026. This will be an optional, 1-day event the day before the training begins. Click here for more information and how to register. Note, this is a separate event from the 3-day training. Space for this is limited to 5 structure slots. 

Cancellations received 5 days or more prior to the training will receive a full refund, minus a $10 administrative fee. Cancellations made less than 5 days before the training will be eligible for a 50% refund minus a $10 administrative fee. In the event you cannot attend, you may transfer your registration to another participant with advance notice to the USPBSPA by emailing info@pbspamericaconnect.org. In the unlikely event that USPBSPA must cancel or reschedule the training, all registration fees will be fully refunded.
