Senior PBSP Trainer, Gus Kaufman, will be presenting a 3-hour experiential introduction to PBSP as part of the  American Academy of Psychotherapists (AAP), Southern Regional  daylong conference.

“The Roots of Justice are in the Body”: Applying Pesso-Boyden System Psychomotor Therapy for Healing Personal and Societal Wounds”

Description: How do family and societal wounds show up in our bodies, maps of the world and behavior? What can be done to heal? With a PowerPoint, exercises and experiences, we will explore PBSP's use as a tool in identifying these wounds and creating a new map.

Gus Kaufman, BA, MA, Ph.D., GA licensed psychologist, works with individuals, couples and groups and provides clinical supervision and training. Since 1978 Dr. Kaufman has been a trainer both nationally and internationally of Pesso-Boyden System Psychomotor Therapy. His dissertation research Body Signals of Childhood Loss was a pioneering work in demonstrating how ‘the body keeps the score.’
